Of course that was what I was trying to point out to wayne.
Outlook has a newsreader built-in also but they are both terrible.

Actually Outlook does have a newsreader - Outlook Express!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iether way this is a terrible newsreader for dealing with binaries. I have
found Newsbin Pro to be exceedingly good for automatically sucking up and
dealing with the thousands of parts that make up some binaries from multiple
news servers. As Wayne says there are several others

QuickPar and WinRAR are also must have tools for what you seem to want to
do.
