Hi All,
I have 7 computers hooked up through my wired home network. Cable modem
to my Linksys router & switch. Everything works great.
My son (it's always the kids that want to mess up a good thing) wants me
to make it wireless so he can hookup wirelessly with his laptop. He
bought a new Linksys 4 port wireless router (looks identical to the one
I have but has two antennas) and a notebook adapter.
I am becoming less and less enthusiastic about this the more I read
about these security things (WEP vs PSK) and how it all works. I have
been doing google searches to learn more about these issues but I am
totally new to this wireless stuff. I was stoked that I got my wired
network working, now this (kids).
I would appreciate any input from anyone who actually knows anything
about this subject.
