I try to avoid installing the apps like InCD and Roxios version of same
based in part on many negative comments over the years. What is the current
thinking by you long time list members? I caught myself just in time to
avoid writing "old timers". I was momentarily distracted by the nurse who
came in to give me my pills.

It was - I caught it red handed, maybe there was a tinge of red around the
dialog box as well, when it informed me it was nearly finished formatting.
I had just been trying to eject the disk at the time.

All the options to do nothing were checked.
Can Nero INCD can get away with such poor programming practices?
Hasn't anyone sued them yet!?

Will remove all trace of Nero, then reinstall with the latest updates of
INCD first, to see if it still has bad habits - no nun intended ;)
