Just a follow up for the archives. I got the new DVD burner and
proceeded to burn 2 coasters. It seemed to be showing the same
errors as the original drive so out of desperation I deleted
Nero and used the Nero Clean utility AND unistalled Roxio EZCD
7. I did a minimum Nero OEM install and was able to burn a data
DVD and back up a movie.
I'll have to test more and put the old drive in to prove it was
a software problem and not hardware. Strange.
