It's getting a bit more complicated :-) The HD in a laptop is SATA.
I pulled it out and that's what it says on it. It's a Hitachi 5400
RPM drive.
The connector on the HD is an edge type, so I'm not sure there are
any adapters for this. To complicate things, I do not have a mobo
with SATA on it presently, but even if I did, there does not seem to
be a way to connect it.
