Not really Gary.... Easier to kill yourself with high amperage 110v than it is
with lower amperage 240v.
60W light bulb @ 240v = 0.25A
60W light bulb @ 110v = 0.55A
2KW fire @ 240v = 8.3A
2KW fire @ 110v = 18.2A
