Doesn't apply to the US as you don't have an earth or ground connection in the
mains lead but if left on (standby will do) I didn't say RUNNING! you have the
benefit of an earth or ground to stop static (you do wear a wrist strap don't
you) and the power in standby will keep the CMOS charged so you wont have to
reset anything 

However I can send you a little progran (suit or 2 actually) that will save your
CMOS and rewrite the saved file - you can have as many setting files as you wish
so one for gaming one for work - whatever

Just keep a backup or one to boot to another Hdd etc.

Any good for you - saves writing it down and then resetting everything.
