I watched as the RS guy picked up the battery with his finger and thumb
and said I was told not to do that and that you could zap the battery and
he said not in a million years not enough voltage in the battery to make
a
cicuit with your fingers. In any event the battery tested fine as did my
6
year old battery that was losing time and not in the good X-Files kind of
way. I'll remove everything on the computer next weekend and start adding
things one at a time and see what happens. I am not optimistic. The PS. I

that was bad would the computer attempt to start up and then stop after
the memory check or not. TIA.
