Woah there Wayne, no need to get so upset.
Not upset just in a rush to get out the door.
I saw your post and noticed you had the Irfanview option selected, too.
What happens when you unselect that option and try to view a jpg file
with the lister viewer?
Before I posted my first post on the subject I had it unchecked & then
when you made your post I unchecked it, saved my configuration, closed TC
& re-opened it & I was still able to view image files.
Do you have the Windows viewer turned off by some chance?
I'll look at that. I may have my default set to Adobe Photoshop, I think.
I'll let you know what I find.
Well, I checked and I'm setup to use the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer by
default. If I dbl-click on the file in TC that's what opens. If I select to
view with lister it will only display in Binary mode. I opened the
Lister/Help and this is what it says for the Image option:
"4. Image If possible, the file is shown as a bitmap image. Depending on the
file extension, the file is loaded as a bitmap with the internal bmp viewer,
or with the help of Irfanview."
That seems to indicate that it won't display image files other than
bitmaps(.bmp) with the base viewer. That is what I am experiencing. It works
fine once I select to use Irfanview.
