get added. Can I just go through the list and eliminate all
the files and registry changes? Their instructions on removal require having MacAfee installed.

The folder, files and reg keys can just be deleted. Boot into safe mode to delete them though.

Kindly remind me how to boot into safe mode.

We're running an up-to-date version of XP. I also discovered her AV (AVG 6.0) wasn't running. I'm guessing when the 7.0 update came out she just didn't get it updated. She's 16 and should know better. When I setup the computer for her I walked her through the SpyBot, AV and Windows updating and checking. She's obviously forgotten everything I showed her. We also usually run ZA free version and Windows defender. But I see she's running the XP firewall. I'll have to get the ZA running again.

I guess I'll just have to set everything on automatic update. Amazing how these kids and undo the safeguards by mistake.
