I can only sit here amused -- so many people staunching proclaiming that hobbling XP and applying all that snake oil is "good security" -- and I watch as there's yet *another* long thread filled with do this/update- that, you might be able to fix it THIS way.. What a carnival, and all of it -- the overlapping AV battles (why run only two when five might better patch all the holes you've opened), all the hassle and problems... all mostly-unnecessary if a person would just re-enable the wonderful protection/security machinery built into XP... Sigh...
