I looked into this after buying my daughter a WME Laptop for College and
THEN hearing that the inability to join a domain might cause her a problem.
I found several websites that said you could join a domain when you first
install WME, but not after. I also found this website that indicates you can
hack WME to allow access to a domain. I didn't try it (the university did
not require access to a domain for the students to access their network),
but thought I would pass on the info.
