Nope, that works with Pro but NOT home and generally not MCE, I know because 
I just did this for a MCE2k5 and XP Home machine on an SBS2k3 domain just 
last week. MCE was running on a bootcamped Intel based mac but the same 
happens on straight Wintel hardware.

Even though it works, we'll be upgrading both machines to Pro from a 
managability point of view in addtion to network mounted home directories, 
GPO's and OFS (offline folder synchronization) for the laptop user (xp home 
machine).
