Open "My Computer" and under the Tools menu option, there
should be a Map Network Drive option. In the dialog box(es)
that follow, select the Mapped Network Drive letter, type in
the shared resource path [\\computername\sharename[\volume]],
select the Reconnect at logon (= /persistent switch) check box
if desired. By default the login will use the current logged in
user name and password. Click on the "Connect using a different
user name" link if needed. This is covered in Windows Help and
Support under the index topic of Map Network Drive.
