As you suggest there are other ways to get an aero look. It's weird for me: Vista is growing on me. There are some improvements but the cost to upgrade makes it a real "second thought" kind of purchase.
The betas have been shrewdly pushing everyone to review the ultimate (i.e., most expensive) upgrade. I played around with Vista Business (available on the iso's or the disks from Microsoft) which is apparently comparable to XP Pro. This is much cheaper than the Ultimate upgrade and very nice in its own right. The biz version is probably what I would look to upgrade to. So far I see nothing AT ALL in vista to make me want to move from xp [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > This is the numerical > score that Vista assigns to your hardware, I would guess ostensibly to > ensure you can run all Vista features successfully. -- ---------------------------------------- The WIN-HOME mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software.
