I'm with Gralla too. It's interesting that Finnie, in an earlier newsletter (maybe last month) issued the statement that he was going to upgrade to the Ultimate version when it came out.
As Gary points out UAC is really an non-entity in my daily use of Vista. Just turn it off. Gralla's. Finnie is obsessing over UAC to the exclusion of everything else. Yes, UAC is a bit of a pain when first setting up a PC to your liking, but once you get it set up, UAC doesn't get invoked all that often. And if it really bothers you, it is easy enough to turn off.
