Hi, guys --
What causes FireFox to announce "Mailcheck!" when I turn it on, and how --
please, please, please tell me how -- do I stop it? I've removed the .wav
file, but it always comes back. I've uninstalled Thunderbird. It doesn't
have anything to do with Eudora, because it doesn't happen when I turn
Eudora on, and when I turn FF on, it doesn't in fact check the mail. This
is driving me absolutely crazy. It's the most obnoxious computer sound I've
ever heard, and I want it gone.
