Since you've indicated that your system already has cooling fans for CPU,
left-case cover and
rear below the SMPS I think you should also consider getting a front-inside
panel
cooling fan to keep the CPU temperture zone well within the limits of 80 - 115
degrees
C.
Also keep in mind that flat-striped IDE cables can obstruct airflow to the cpu
zone and its
best to use either thin-tube IDE cables for PATA drives or SATA cables for SATA
drives which
don't restrict airflow as much at all. If all you have are flat-striped IDE
cables you can get around this
by simply folding the cable in half lengthwise and then fold each half onto
itself like a sheet of paper into a thin strand
just as you would make a paper fan leaving just enough slack for the terminal
connections and wrapping them in 1/8 inch plastic cable ties.
Make sure you get the right size fan for the front-inside panel and when
installing make sure the arrow
marked on the side of the fan is facing in toward the real panel to induct cool
air outside through the bottom
front of the PC case since the rear panel fan below the PSU inducts air to the
rear outside the case. You want the air
to flow in the same direction to the rear of the pc case over the cpu zone as
well where the temperature is most
high and tends to go critical.

Hi all,
The Intel active monitor utility is showing the processor's own temperature to
be 80°. To be precise, the temperature fluctuates between 80 and 80°C. System
zone one and systems own to have temperatures around 39°C. This is something
that has had and recently. I cannot pinpoint the precise date of the change.
Earlier, the temperature in the processor zone would not exceed 63°C.
Note:
The computer was properly packed so I suspect the damage occurred during packing
but I could be wrong. I am in discussion with the packers.
In terms of fans, there is a processor fan, a fan situated below the SMPS and
one on the inside of the left-hand side lid of the Cabinet that blows air onto
the processor. All fans are running at what appears to be full speed.
