The Mandrake 7.2 kernel needed a couple of mods not supplied by netraverse.
Had to get the info and files elsewhere...
And secondly I'm not a kernel guru. I'm just a farmer who uses a computer to
do real stuff in the real world. If you are making a product for linux it
should be quick and easy to install in one of the more common distros. If it
wasn't for help from this list and the info put together privately by others
on their web sites, then I wouldn't even have win4lin v2 running.
Atthe moment I'm going to remove win4lin from this machine and put it on
another... But that means finding the various patches, headers and modified
.c files I need and compiling the kernel...
And soon we have a whole new bunch of problems with v3.0, no doubt...
Yes, nice product, just not sure it's worth the effort for me at the moment.
