1) I think you must remember you're talking to people used to the open
source community, where even a product as durable as XV only costs $25
(and that's optional)
2) The University of Cambridge was founded by scholars from Oxford who
got P**d off with the place ( moral - don't annoy your customers - they
may go and set up their own and better product :-)
