No, that's true. You're not. Consider the sequence of events:

Person A unwittingly posts HTML to this list. Several HTML followups ensue.

Person B freaks out and flames Person A.

Person A humbly apologizes and explains that he wasn't aware how profound and 
culturally offensive his transgression was. He commits ritual suicide and is 
not heard from again.

Person C replies to Person A's last words and, beginning with, "While we're 
at it...", flames the dead guy all over again for his _quoting style_. What's 
next? Spelling? Flagrant miscapitalization? Dangling participles?

Person D replies to Person C saying in his meandering long-winded way, "give 
the guy a break".

Person C replies to Person D with an arguably witty screed on quoting style 
and inadvertently introduces a new phrase into the Linux lexicon: "there's 
only one way to do it". 

The rest of the list members roll their eyes.
