Win4Lin only supports USB devices that it uses the Linux driver for. So,
while it will use USB keyboards, mice and printers, it will not be able
to access a USB scanner or camera. This is because there is currently
no USB code to map calls to devices to access the hardware directly.
It is something we are looking into for future Win4Lin releases.

While NeTraverse does not officially support installation of Win4Lin
under
Debian or Slackware, what this really means is we do not provide kernels
or Debian/Slackware packages. However, we do provide generic kernel
patches
so you can patch your own kernel source, and the FAQs we have on Debian
and Slackware in our knowledge base include information on how to
install
the RPM under these distributions.

This is correct, and is one of the reasons we do not support NT/2000. We
also
currently do not support WindowsME, however this is high on our list of
priorities.

There is no code support for DirectX in Win4Lin. The Win4Lin display
driver
(used to interface with the Linux X-Windows display) currently does not
support DirectX.

Actually, VNET in Win4Lin 3.0 only supports Windows TCP/IP. It has no
capabilities to do NetBEUI or IPX/SPX networking.
I hope this helps to answer some of your questions.
