We have some problems with the installer seg faulting. We know one cause
which happens when updating a Mandrake system. But there are others, and
apparently more widespread than one would have thought.
I do not want to be the roadblock for anyone getting their updated kernels.
Therefore
you can find them on ftp.netraverse.com/pub/win4lin/LatestKernels/RPMS
The new ones are
Kernel-Win4Lin2-Mandrake8.0_2.4.3.20-03.i586.rpm
Kernel-Win4Lin2-RedHat7.1_2.4.2.2-02.i386.rpm
Kernel-Win4Lin2-SuSE7.1_2.4.0-05.i386.rpm
Don't forget to remove your old Win4Lin kernel first. To find the exact name,
rpm -qa | grep Kernel. This only applies if you're using one of our
pre-compiled rpms.
Then install the new one with rpm -i <name of file here> and please don't
forget to reboot
when you change your kernel.
