well (without wishing to reopen an argument) I've got a 100% success
rate getting it up on slack (by converting all my rpm's to tgz's) - and
you DO know the file, postinst_rpm, to run after installation. The only
other catch was that there was once a BOGUS dependency on 'ncurses.so.4'
(redhat version) which ACTUALLY had to be ncurses.so.5
