[Winona Online Democracy] There has been no price range set for houses going up on the Phillips property. Though I understand there will be convenences and guidelines.
When I asked how much lots would sell for he said under $100,000 (2/3 acre). I thought it interesting that it was not under $75,000 or $50,000, so I would assume they will be closer to the $100,000 mark for a lot. I do know this. Jason has a contract for deed for the property at a price of 1.1 million dollars. It will cost him (from the last figures I have heard) $1.7 million to pay the city to come out with water and sewer. It will cost him nearly 2 million (hearsay from reliable sources) to put a road in. There are many other costs involved as well. I will guess the cost of a lot will be quite high end in order for Jason to make any money. If the lot is nearly $100,000, an average new home is costing about $200,000, so I would again assume you are looking at high dollar houses going up out here. I live in Spring Brook. Jason's property abutts our neighborhood along the back side of the houses and to the cul de sac and beyond.. Thanks for asking.
