[Winona Online Democracy]

I am not at all surprised at whatever happens in this district.  Yes, I think things stay the same in this district.  Here it is only a few days after a vote and already taxpayers are not trusting the district again.  When will voters/taxpayers demand accountability from this district?

Even though I was disappointed that Mr. Durand did not keep his word to me and follow through on his promise to respond to questions I'd asked him privately in writing weeks before the referendum, I still voted for the approval of 2/3 the questions.  As many of you may be aware, this is the first time I have supported a referendum for 861.  It is also the first time I have not actively opposed one.  Unfortunately, it now appears that my silence and support may have been premature.
The more things change in ISD 861, the more they stay the same?

Well said Ruth.

The teachers and staff in the District were wondering the same things yesterday!

It seemed very clear based on the District's mailings, web site, and other information what would be restored if Question One passed.

Is there now a problem or has the School Board and Supt. changed their minds?
