** I am not whining when I complain about the student vote. It is a fact, as
2 well written letters to the editor state in the daily news today, the
students are not effected by the outcome of the referendums.
And just what does it tell us when groups go out to get student votes? It
tells me that they don't think they will have enough TAX paying voters to
pass whatever they want passed.
As someone told me ' if the vote passes due to student voters it will be
criminal but legal'.
Well put I thought then and I think now.

Also, I'm a bit tired of the sour grapes turning into "whine" sic. about
the outcome of the referendum due to students voting. They have just a
much
right to vote as any other citizen and I really begin to wonder about a
society where only land owners would be allowed to vote. Sounds a bit
feudal
to me.
> As for technology, many organizations like PTA, Lions, Jaycees,
foundations and business can step in here and donate for technology.
Elementary PTAs have been very generous with computers, etc. and
charitable
gambling groups are always looking for places to donate their funds. All
we
need to do is ask.
