I'd like to make a recommendation to the Board regarding regaining community
trust. I believe the step towards progress would be inexpensive (bonus), quick,
and effective:

As the funds begin coming in over the years and the board makes positive
decisions based on the funds' wherabouts, I recommend these decisions be put
online, on the WAPS website.
While marketing for the referendum, there was a checklist of items we would
lose or programs that would be affected if the referendum did not pass. I
believe it would be in the best interest of the district to use that as a
public checklist of sorts. Post it online, and check off when progress is made.

That checklist will help for two reasons:
1) It will keep people on both sides honest.
2) It will make the next referendum a lot easier to sell. The public will
recognize how the money was used and be more willing to reinvest.

Just my two cents for whatever it's worth.
