In regards to the issue, it can't hurt to at least share your thoughts with Nintendo. I tried to explain the circumstances and why I would want to disable those lower rates. Maybe if they get bothered enough the issue might get noticed. Wishful thinking, I know! Some Nintendo DSs appear to have the same behavior. I asked Nintendo about it and they had no plans to change the behavior of the Wii. It honestly sounded like they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about disabling lower data rates. I had to keep the 1 and 2 Mb data rates on our devices ESSID. We have too many Wiis on campus to just ignore them. We have Wii's trying to connect and they require the 2Mbps data rate and they fail to associate. Does anyone know how to disable the 1Mbps and 2Mbps data rates on the Wii? ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/.
