Hi all, I joined this list to learn about wireless gear as i have a link to setup in Bristol, UK
Basically, I have Line Of Site with a customer of the company i work for from the roof of our building. I intend to use 2 x linksys WAP11 ver2.2 units in bridge mode, with 2 x hyperlink mini dish antennas (15db gain) I think i am just over the legal limit but i beleive there is a way to back the power down on the card should i require it. Im hoping i get a good 11mbps connection and that weather doesnt effect it to much, Has anyone got any experiences with this sort of setup? Also does it look like it should work (In theory)? Also, as i move further in to this project will it be ok to ask some technical questions, about lightning protection / waterproofing / POE etc etc. Thanks Richy :-) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
