I am also in Santa Clara (El Camino & Lafayette).   I have Speakeasy 1.1
SDSL w/ 4 static IPs and pay $200/mo.   You can get the same if you are
within 12k ft of the CO (which is located at 1717 Bellamy Ave).

In early November, I'm probably going to be moving near downtown SJ, where I
can also get Speakeasy 1.1 SDSL.  I plan on sharing my bandwidth for free to
people in my complex, giving them the option to donate to me.  I'll throttle
my "free" AP to 384/384.
