Also the Current Breezemax equipment doesn't use the Intel chipset.. You don't have to do business with intel to be part of the WiMax community.

The trade group hasn't made any efforts to suppress this use yet, and Intel hasn't made any public statements I'm aware of. After talking to Alvarion, I don't think they're misrepresenting what they're doing because they've committed to providing, ultimatey, WiMax certified equipment when it's available sometime in 2005. This is not like selling something that's clearly unrelated to 802.16 and claiming it can be upgraded. It's selling something that's very much like 802.16 and promising it will be upgraded.
