So far to date - the WISP community has donated almost 1200.00 in donations to this tragic loss of a family in our community. These donations will not come from any one person in particular nor will our names be known. I have spoken to several concerning this and the majority would like to remain anonmous.
As I have stated below - $1.00 or $5.00 or $500.00 - any amount will make a difference to this family. Please find it in your hearts to give atleast $1.00.
I know this is not typically where you post things like this, but I felt in my heart to reach out to our industry and ask for donations of any kind.
We have a family in our community that just went through a tragic loss Sunday evening. The family consisted of a Father / Mother and 4 children.
Their house caught fire and all got out except for a 6yr old. The father went into the burning house to rescue the kid but didn't make it out. Sadly, they were both found curled up together near the backdoor where they died.
The father was the only bread-winner for the family as the mother stayed home to take care of the family. He did not have a very high paying job to begin with.
They are being taken care of by the community for clothes / food / housing / etc.
APGWireless, LLC has solicited it's business customer base asking for donations in the form of $$. On Friday of next week, we will stop taking donations and present the Mother of this family with Gift Cards from Walmart which she will be able to use to purchase anything the family hasn't received as a donation but needs. The Walmart here also has a grocery store where she can purchase any special items they normally use.
If any of you can see it in your heart to donate anything - I don't care if it's $1.00 or $5.00 or $500.00 It would greatly be appreciated. APGWireless, LLC is donating $200.00 to get this kicked off.
