My opinion differs. I think they are a really neat design. They enable the 
use of higher power, due to the higher (7db) rules for Smart antennas.
I think they killed their viabilty for me, when they doubled their price, 
after I already thought their price was to expensive by a factor of 2x-3x.
Only verticle pol, to take advantge of their smart antenna.

I have never tested compatibilty with Ubiquiti though. I do not know if that 
works or not.
