I love it when some pundit tries to compare the U.S. to "other developed countries". Name one with our size population, spread out over such a huge, geographically diverse, nation. Honestly, it just doesn't matter what Japan or Korea do...they are smaller geographically than many of our individual states, and most people live in extremely concentrated areas. I'm not saying that we can't, or shouldn't do better, but really...
