So far I am have able to mix and match the Biacell, and Telrad eNBs and UEs.
Biacell eNB connects to the core with 0 setup. With only one change it will
connect and work with the Telrad core.
UEs from both Telrad and Biacells work with either eNBs.
Things to test:1. VPLS from the Telrad Core to the Biacells UE using a Telrad
eNB2. VPLS from the Telrad Core to the Biacells UE using a Biacells eNB (I
don't believe this will work. There are some updates to the Biacells eNB coming
out soon to add VPLS)3. Does the Biacells UE support VPLS ?4. Does the Biacells
UE allow remote management from the Wireless side?5. Do all this again with the
new 19.5 dB Biscells UE.
One cool thing is when the Biacells eNB is using the Telrad core it only send
SIM card authorization to the core. All customer data goes out to its gateway
and not to the core.
