What exactly is an OCTET ?????
I was looking into the 802.11b standard, wondering the length of teh PSDU frame.
PSDU = [variable 0 - 4095 octects] --> so i think
is OCTECT = BYTE ?????? yup it sure refers to byte
or
4095 l = 2125 bits
= (4 x 83) + (0 x 82) + (9 x 81) +(5 x 80)
= 2048 + 0 +72 +5 = 2125
= 2125 bits
i just wonder how u got to this sum
