I tried that. Nothing appeared to be hidden but some non plug and play CD driver which was not installed or working properly so I uninstalled it.
The error in properties for the drive is type19 if that helps. Still get the drives not showing up and the corrupted reg message. If I boot into Win 2000 professional which is on another drive all is well.
