Probably have an emergency disk somewhere but not sure how that would solve
my problems. I can seems that the plug and play install file is the problem
it install a corrupted registry. I guess I could boot from the Win 2000
Server install disk but what would I do have it do a repair?

The last good config might not work since I followed the directions and
uninstalled the devices then rebooted and let plug and play do the install.
