It's just the standard fixed font that's used in xterm
(-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed-*-13-120-75-75-c-60-iso10646-1).
xterm displays all utf-8 characters correctly, but in the title and
status bar they're wrong.

Oh hm, but you have japanese rendered, so maybe it's something
different. Tobias, you said "the same font" works in a terminal, how
do you know this? What terminal, what font?
