The new home of the WordPress translations will be http://translate.wordpress.org/
It is a GlotPress install, where everybody can collaborate on the translations. For now I have imported only the translations from the trunk directory in your repositories. You can import translations manually. The other branches will be added later. All subversion committers have approval access on translate.wordpress.org. The username/password combination is your regular wordpress.org one. The workflow is the following: logged-in users can suggest translations, which go to the waiting queue. Users with approval access can approve the waiting translations, reject them, or add new translations, which bypass the waiting queue. If you have approval access you will see a lot of translation with warnings. These are based on automatic checks for matching placeholders, HTML tags and attributes and more. If you think a warning is a false positive, you can discard it. During the next week the local sites will be integrated with translate.wordpress.org and will be able to pull translations from there, in addition to from the subversion repository. In general I expect he subversion repository to be replaced entirely by translate in the near future. More projects will be added to translate.wordpress.org. The next will be BuddyPress and bbPress. This way the whole family will get no worse i18n treatment than WordPress. For bug reports, the best place is http://trac.glotpress.org/ For general comments and suggestions this thread is fine. Happy translating, Nikolay. _______________________________________________ wp-polyglots mailing list [email protected] http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-polyglots
