GM Team, Living a few miles from the Pacific, I'm equally challenged with respect to knowing current usage on 80 between EU and the east coast, but I think it is QUITE critical that we get a good handle on it before proceeding. I don't use JT65 or JT9 on 80, and the only times I get into that part of the band are for RTTY contests. Do we KNOW that there is a conflict, or are we simply being proactive?
Our existing 160M frequency choice is outside the Region Two bandplan, but has worked out quite well. One thing to consider is that ARRL and/or RSGB may be wrong, or that the bandplan is not being followed. 40M is a case in point -- PSK31 was at 7070 dial frequency, now much of that activity is lower in the band between 7030 and 7040. 73, Jim K9YC On Thu,11/13/2014 8:55 AM, Bill Somerville wrote: > On 13/11/2014 16:36, Joe Taylor wrote: >> Hi all, > Hi Joe, >> I have been advised that the default 80-meter frequency compiled into >> WSJT-X, 3.576 MHz, is not compliant with the current IARU recommendation >> for region 1 and 2.
