USB was on selective suspend so I turned that off.  Computer is set to never
to go to sleep so it shouldn't have been doing anything.   Unless that was a
change to Windows 10 9879 this pause has never happened before.
Naturally I'll keep an eye out for it.  I started a debug version and
attached gdb to it.  So if it happens again tonight I can hopefully figure
out why.

I doubt this is anything related to rig control. The most likely culprit is
a sound card issue, if it is a USB device then check the system and driver
settings to make sure it is not allowed to go to sleep.
