Thankyou for the reply.

I found rigctl-wsjtx and rigctld-wsjtx in WSJTX/bin. I launched the 
first one.

I found the introduction to hamlib and entered rigctl -l
(Is that the number 1 or letter l ? I tried letter l)

Eventually I tried Rig command: -1 (number 1)
This gave me Model name: Dummy (and lots of other data).

I can't seem to get it to give me a list of models like the 
introduction suggests.

The AOR AR3030 requires 4800 8N2 on COM3.

I don't know how to tell hamlib to use that because I don't know what 
model number rigctl uses for that receiver.

Sorry. I struggle with command line stuff.
