This problem is known by Remoterig users. Anyway, the implementation
of Remoterig requires that both lines go to HIGH to activate PTT. As I
explained it is an heritage of MMTTY which rises both lines.

I am sorry, you are correct and only the RTS and DTR signals of the CAT
connection serial port can be controlled directly. Has anyone considered
raising this issue with the Remoterig providers as it seems a very
onerous requirement that is quite unnecessary.
