I installed WSJT-X on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit laptop this morning (new install) and got the initial LotW Users Data File error. So I followed Bill's procedure and attempted to install the OpenSSL libraries to the Windows system directory. When I did that, I got an error that it couldn't copy the file because it was in use. I closed all programs, rebooted and tried again but still got the error that it was in use. I rebooted again and now when I open WSJT-X 2.0 RC3, I get this error.

Hi Don,

I am a little surprised that it has taken so long for someone to have issues with OpenSSL libraries even after my prior instructions to install a known good and contemporary version into the Windows system directory. What does the following command print when run from a non-Administrator command prompt?

WHERE libeay32.dll
