The XCVR's from Yaesu have often differences depending on the countries
where they are sold. This "configuration" is often done by solder
bridges in the XCVR. You can change these if you known what you are
doing. After such a modification of the bridges, a RESET of the XCVR is
often necessary at the next power on of the device. Then, all the
previous settings are lost. You have to set them again.
The details are probably available in the maintenance manual.
