Hi, everybody, dear OM! Sometimes the frequency of my transceiver is inadvertantly set to a standard value. Yesterday I called cq on 14.074800 with 1500 Hz offset. UR4MQG called me and I worked him. Then R6AV called me. Either I double clicked him or I enabled Tx. No answer. Later I realized that the frequency was set to the standard list value of 14.078, though I did not touch anything for it. How come?
Background: I use 2.0.0-rc5 on Windows 10 with an IC-7410. Even if I increase the filter bandwidth there is only good reception in the middle of the waterfall. My split operation is "fake it" for transmitting. All stations below 1300 and above 1800 have low snr or are invisible. So I turn the frequency up and down. (It is the same with an IC-703, but not with an IC-7300. I can be hound with an IC-7300 without tricks.) I did not tick "Disable Tx after sending 73". Does anybody have an idea, why my frequency is reset to one of the standard value?
