HI Al, Don't feel like the Lone Ranger on this one, I have experienced the same phenomena as U... Not only with 2.0, but all the earlier versions as well, its like there is a hidden activity timer !!! It only happens when I'm not active, never when I'm actively using the program... I turned off the USB timers long ago to no avail, I've swapped computers, used a different radio, so far no luck... Its not that big of a deal with me, just restart WSJT, so I haven't really pursued it too much. I have an older laptop around here with XP in it, may have to load 2.0 in it and try it, should tell me if its a Win 10 problem or not... Anybody out there using something besides Win 10 having the same problem ???73, Paul, W3NZL
