I am referring to RIG_LEVEL_AF and though it may not be implemented on all 
would be a nice feature for those rigs that can which is quite a few.It would 
allow the user to "Mute" which is setting RIG_LEVEL_AF=0 and remember that last 
setting so it can toggle.

Hi Mike,

if you mean mute the rig's volume, then that is going to be pretty 
patchy coverage as most rigs don't have that CAT command. Otherwise I 
don't understand what you are proposing to mute.
